Breakthrough Atlanta students who successfully complete our six-year program merge seamlessly onto the campuses of some of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning. Students have enrolled in Barnard College, Cornell University, Colby College, Hampton University, Morehouse College, Santa Clara University, Smith College, Spelman College, University of Georgia, and University of Notre Dame, just to name a few.

Make a gift today! Our six year, tuition free program not only provides the students with an academically rigorous two year summer program and a four year school year program, it also provides them with transportation and meals. Each year, each student’s tuition cost is approximately $1,600.

Each summer, Breakthrough Atlanta is looking for energetic Lovett or Breakthrough Atlanta high school students to volunteer to participate in our six-week summer program. Have fun and make a difference!

Breakthrough Atlanta welcomes all In-Kind sponsors! In-kind donations that are needed are lunches for students, teacher interns, and staff, vouchers for meals, beverages, field trips – cultural (for example, the Atlanta History Center, The World of Coca-Cola), educational (Fernbank, Zoo Atlanta) or professional (CNN or The Weather Channel).
