Is Your Child Eligible?

Requirements:

A current 7th or 8th grader who attends an Atlanta-area public school or public charter school
A student who is highly recommended by teachers or counselors

Priority will be given to students who:

Qualify for free or reduced school meal
Have parents who have not yet earned a degree from a 4-year college or university

Summer 2026 Information Sessions:

All sessions are held virtually via Zoom from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.:
- November 20, 2025
- December 18, 2025
- January 22, 2026
- February 12, 2026

Application Instructions:

The application period opens at the beginning of November and runs through early Spring.
Applications will be reviewed to determine if an applicant is invited to participate in a Family Interview.
Both the student and a parent or caregiver are required to attend and participate in the interview.
Please fill out a new student interest form if you have questions.

Important notes:

You do not have to complete the online application all at once. You can save and resume the online application later
Parents must complete a separate application for each child
