All experience levels welcome for friendly competition at Atlanta Pickleball Center
Breakthrough Atlanta will host its second annual Pickleball Tournament from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at the Atlanta Pickleball Center, bringing together players of all skill levels and ages, community supporters, staff, and students for a day of friendly competition. The event has grown into an annual tradition, uniting community members around a popular sport while raising critical support for Breakthrough Atlanta’s transformative educational programs for middle school, high school, and college students.
The tournament will feature a round-robin format with 2v2 match play, giving teams ample court time before advancing to the finals. The event is designed to be both competitive and welcoming. Participants are encouraged to gather colleagues, clients, family members, or friends to form teams and enjoy a spirited day of pickleball while connecting with the Breakthrough Atlanta network.
“Nothing beats getting out on the court and competing for a common cause,” said Monique Shields, CEO of Breakthrough Atlanta. “Last year’s tournament brought together an amazing group of supporters who showed up for our scholars in a big way. We’re thrilled to bring the event back and hope even more community members will join us this year to share in the energy and joy.”
