Open to all High School Grade Levels
As a Breakthrough Scholar, you have access to The Scholarship Academy’s Virtual Scholarship Center (VSC). Since 2006, The Scholarship Academy has helped students earn more than $50M in scholarships.
In the VSC, scholars can track their talents, activities and accomplishments, build their 4-Year College Funding Plan, access tailored scholarship research, and submit the FAFSA. Using the desktop or mobile app, scholars can also make Virtual Office Hour appointments with staff and volunteers with the easy click of a button.
Summer Advanced Course Registration
The time has come to register for our virtual summer courses. Each summer, our rising 9th-12th Breakthrough scholars will have the opportunity to take Advanced English or Math courses. The courses will be delivered virtually and will offer our scholars the opportunity to sharpen their English and Math skills prior to starting new content next school year. The deadline to register is May 15th so do not delay! Please sign your scholar up for these courses using the links below:

What’s the 411 College Prep Workshop
Join us at The Lovett School on May 21st from 9am-12pm for a morning of college prep workshops for Breakthrough parents and their rising 9th-12th grade scholars. We will start the morning with a Rite of Passage ceremony for our rising 9th graders who are entering the program followed by a college panel discussion and breakout sessions. Don’t miss your chance to secure PELL grants, work study and other forms of non loan-based financial aid to pay for college! Let a counselor from The Scholarship Academy help you complete the FAFSA today.
Log into your Virtual Scholarship Center account. (Don’t have an account yet? See the first entry on this webpage for how to create one.) Your home page should display four options, select ‘Office Hours Request’. Choose a Subject for your appointment using the drop down list. Select an appointment date and time. You will only be able to select open time slots that are at least 48 hours in the future. You will receive a confirmation email!
