This summer, Breakthrough Atlanta celebrated 19 high school graduates who are going onto college in the fall! Families and friends gathered together for our traditional Scholar Send-Off for a ceremony. In a joyous occasion, we celebrated the years of hard work and perseverance that these students have put into Breakthrough Atlanta’s year-round programming.
The Scholar Send-Off took place on June 25, 2025 at The Lovett School. Led by the Master of Ceremony, Brendin P., the program consisted of music, remarks, graduation addresses, a senior slide presentation, and the Breakthrough Atlanta Affirmation – all featuring our new graduates. Dr. Tamika N. Ball, Director of College Prep Programs, presented gifts to each scholar.
